West Comeback Falls Short in All-Star Game

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 18, 2017 — The East defeated the West, 105-100, in the 2017 NBA Development League All-Star Game presented by Kumho Tire. 

The East took an 11-point lead, 101-90, with 2:37 left in the game, but the West came back with a 10-0 run. The comeback attempt fell short, as the East went on to score the final four points of the game. 

Oklahoma City’s Reggie Williams scored 11 points in the second half of the game, his second career D-League All-star appearance. He was second on the team with 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists. Teammate Dakari Johnson, in his first All-Star game, tallied four points, three rebounds and a steal in 13 minutes. 

The Canton Charge’s Quinn Cook scored 18 points and added 7 rebounds and 12 assists in his second consecutive All-Star appearance, en route to being named MVP. 

The All-Star break wraps up for Oklahoma City on Wednesday, February 22, with a contest versus the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the Cox Convention Center at 7 p.m.
