FRISCO, Texas, Feb. 24, 2017 – The Oklahoma City Blue (27-12) downed the Texas Legends (16-19), 121-106, on Friday night.
The Blue led, 57-55, at halftime, but came out of the locker room to outscore the Legends 35-24 in the third. Daniel Hamilton scored 14 points to lead the team in the quarter.
Hamilton narrowly missed a triple-double, recording a career-high 32 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. The forward notched his 10th double-double of the season.
The game went back and forth in the first half, with two ties and six lead changes. Oklahoma City led by 16 midway through the second quarter, but Texas went on a 25-9 run close the half.
There were six players in double figures for the Blue, including Kaleb Tarczewski, who turned in his sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Dez Wells made his first start of the season and tallied 17 points, three rebounds and two assists.
Oklahoma City returns home tomorrow night to face the Salt Lake City Stars at 7 p.m. in the Cox Convention Center.
