Oklahoma City Holds On to Beat D-Fenders

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Feb. 11, 2017 – The Oklahoma City Blue (24-11) withstood a fourth quarter run to beat the Los Angeles D-Fenders (26-8), 134-128, on Saturday night.

The game was tied at 125-all with 4:54 left in the fourth quarter. A three from Daniel Hamilton and layup from Chris Wright put the Blue up for good.

Hamilton finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds, his ninth double-double of the season. Wright turned in 12 points and six rebounds.

Oklahoma City led 40-29 after the first quarter, behind 15 points from Reggie Williams. The Blue went on a 16-3 run to start off the second quarter and took a 75-58 lead into halftime.

Williams finished with a team-leading 28 points, one of six Blue players in double figures. Kaleb Tarczewski turned in a career-high 21 points to go with seven rebounds off the bench.

Oklahoma City wraps up the road trip tomorrow versus the Santa Cruz Warriors at 8 p.m. at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
