Caruso and Wells Invited to Elite Mini Camp

OKLAHOMA CITY, May 2, 2017 – Oklahoma City Blue guards Alex Caruso and Dez Wells will participate in the eighth annual NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp beginning on May 8 at Chicago’s Quest Multisport Gym, it was announced today.

The camp offers standouts from the past season an opportunity to perform in front of NBA team personnel in advance of Summer Leagues and 2017 training camps.

Caruso finished his rookie season with the Blue, playing in all 50 games (46 starts), and averaging 11.9 points, a team-leading 5.2 assists and 2.14 steals (4th in the league) in 30.3 minutes per game.

Wells joined the Blue on January 20, his second stint with the team. He appeared in 23 games (one start) and averaged 12.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.27 steals in 25.5 minutes per game.

Caruso and Wells will be joined at the camp by Blue Assistant Coach Jarell Christian, who will function as an Assistant Camp Director.
