Blue Acquires Solomon Jones

OKLAHOMA CITY, March 24, 2017 – The Oklahoma City Blue has acquired center/forward Solomon Jones off waivers, the team announced today.

Jones (6-10, 230) was last in training camp with the Chicago Bulls in the 2014-15 season, appearing in two preseason games, averaging 1.0 point and 2.0 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game.

Jones is an NBA veteran of nine seasons. He split his time between the Atlanta Hawks, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Hornets, New York Knicks and Orlando Magic, playing 281 games (12 starts) and averaging 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game.

Jones will join the team on the road and is expected to be in uniform on March 26 when the Blue faces the Austin Spurs in the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
